The Negro Question

The Negro Question

The Negro Question is a book written by up-and-coming author Lee Cummings of Chicago Illinois. The book attempts  to answer the aged old question, who is the American Negro and what to do with them (the Negro). This has been the question asked since blacks have reached the shores of America. At certain points of history Presidents have been asked what to do with the American Negro. One option was to have them sent to South America, but was rejected by nations in South America.

Another option was to have the black man sent back to Africa, but it never panned out.  An option to simply give them their 40 acres and a mule, also never came to fruition.

The next question has been who is the black Negro living in America? The author answers these questions finally for the black man and woman living in America. The Negro Question begins with chapter one outlining how people can be black but not African. From there, the author takes us on a thrill ride that will reveal some of the most astonishing facts about the Negro in America, why, how, and when he became the troubled-filled race he has become in the United States, even to this day.

This is a must read for every ‘African American’ family. It will trace your roots past Mississippi, past Nigeria, and will bring you to the real plot of land on the African continent that the American Negro comes from.
