One day while sitting in my not so lovely residence of work I bumped into a website called Wealthy Affiliate. At the time I was surfing for different ways to make money online. (Or more like ways to get out of the job that I highly disliked!) I found many different methods to make money online but they all seemed to be geared towards people who have some experience with computers. After researching a number of different options I decided that I needed to go with the one that did not promise me fast cash now but actually taught me a skill. The more I learned about Wealthy Affiliate the more I figured hell why not! What is 30 bucks a month (no contract) to teach me a skill! After paying ,000 last year for schooling to finish my degree, this seemed very affordable.
The Low Down in the Past 6 Months:
At first I have to admit that I was a little overwhelmed, there were a lot of terms that I did not know and I had no idea what to exactly it entitled to be an internet marketer. But within a week after taking the “Beginners Tutorials and Courses” I began to feel more comfortable and confident. I started reading and making posts in the Wealthy Affiliate Forum. Here I found that all of the members welcomed me like a family. They are all willing to give you advise, tips, and recommendations. After a couple of days of reading different posts in the forum I had a good idea of where to start. Not only did I have help from the members but I was amazed to find that the owners of Wealthy Affiliate (Kyle and Carson) where there to help me out all along the way. On one of my first ad campaigns I had, Kyle actually logged into my account and told me what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. It was great to have a personal tutor! I didn’t get that in University. There were also a number of very useful resources to help me get started.

I feel very confident and the best part is that I am learning new things everyday! I have not yet quit my job as 00.00 does not quite cut it yet, but I did pay off a good chunk of my student loan! After seeing how many people have made careers out of this industry, it is something I am truly striving for. I can see how people can fall in love with this line of work! Time flies in the comfort of your own home and you are your own boss. Well not yet for me but I am hoping maybe next year.
